UCARE Ministry was formed to listen and meet the cry of underprivileged Seventh-day Adventist students who are deprived from
the right of education because of poverty.
Students who are able to pursue their dreams and goals if someone will offer a helping hand and guide them along their quest for success.
In a country like ours, Philippines, education is often if not always the key to have a better life. With the dream to help these unfortunate individuals, we have a vision that through them, they are able to help their family and their poverty situation. When they obtain a good job they can help the entire family.
We at UCARE believe that they too, will be the channel of blessings to help more of those underprivileged students and will break the cycle of poverty.
The lack of nurturing and discipleship in Seventh-day Adventist church are the main causes of backsliding. We at UCARE developed a program to address these needs.
The UCARE ministry will not only help the students with their education, but will nurture them and train them become His disciples.
This is what makes UCARE different.
We focus on the poorest of the poor. They have no family to help them. This is why the expenses are so high. Please read their family story. They will be guided on their spiritual growth by bible workers right in the dormitory. They are trained and encouraged to be become active leaders of the church.
They will be an active member of UCARE ministry and become a role model and a vessel to advance God's work. They will be trained to become an active disciple to help churches assigned to them.
Career guidance is part of this ministry also. Students are guided to what skills and career they can do best.
By God's providence and your benevolent spirit as our sponsor we appeal to you to be a part of UCARE ministry.
Thank you very much and God bless.
UCARE Ministry, Phils.
